Lake Eerie Shore
Post

Another painting of Lake Eerie! :) As horribly polluted as it is, it still has its beautiful moments. :) And it's the only beach around...

Gorgeous. The sky looks perfect, the trees and sand have a perfect blend of texture and realism. Exceptional piece, I'm so glad I had the chance to look at this!

Absolutely beautiful! I so wish I could try painting. It seems like such a challenge. You are very good at it. I always enjoyed browsing this section for your paintings. They always have so much depth and texture to them. I'm glad I stumbled in here today. Great work.

It's a shame how many times pictures and painting of our lakes are started off with the same sentence about pollution. I live right by a horrible polluted lake that decades ago was fit for swimming, now I wouldn't even like the water that crashes over the sea wall to touch me!
This picture is beautiful. You have such a talent that is envious and I do enjoy popping in here to admire your work and dream of those 'if I could only' moments! Love this one!

Lake Erie's still polluted? I was wishing I was in that picture (where ever it is on the lake) until I read that. It sure doesn't look that way in the picture. I love nature pictures.

I really like this piece. The contrast of the water and beach is nicely done, and the tree's on the cliff pop. Nice.

All I can say really is WOW. What realism. People would pay big bucks for a painting like this. Please, oh please, keep on posting!!

What? how come I didn't comment on this before? :(
That was simply stunning River, and I'm ever left in awe at your abilities, especially in painting!
I just love how you gave each detail the time and appreciation that was wonderfully shown here.
Stunning work, Katumns!
