A.k.ChaosDream - Thank you for your kind words. I spent hours on the scales with a rapidograph filled with India ink. I learned "tip shading" from a tattoo artist I know. It's simple - start with the pen firmly against the substrate at the "root" and pick up as you come to the "tip". Still, attention to every stroke was critical. I'm glad you enjoyed my work.

I really love the design in this pic but then again I love anything with dragons :). I love the detail in the scales. Thanks for sharing
