There was a place I once remembered,
among the soft push and pull of time,
that lended its memory to me.
It was a time I had forgotten
the breath of the earth
After the stars had vanished against the light of day
and the birds serenaded the world out of quiet repose.
The flowers clamored and trees sighed
and reminded each other
Night will come again soon.
Is there any sanity in silence?

Such a quiet piece with a gorgeously penned eloquence. The title makes one think deeper of the meaning behind this subtle read. Very calm, somewhat grim and over all the beauty is striking and touching.

I really like this, it's quite a striking turn of phrase.
