What stood out to me most from this one was how the speaker took their cue from the seasonal change; much like spring brings out the colours of nature, the spirits of the speaker seemed to noticeably brighten.
While the imagery in this is excellent, and it's very easy to appreciate the poem for that element alone, it's the spirit of the speaker which I found most infectious.
I really enjoyed the energy and boundless joy of your words.

I am glad the hitherto bored boy was able to unshackle himself from wintery bonds to rush
into the arms of nearing Spring. I felt like I was right there enjoying the rabbits, flying the kite and listening to the harmonica.
