Awashed morals on a rainy evening

Awashed Morals on a rainy evening
O Breeze of the rains; So sombre, so crude;
When you run past us; you take our solace
Our ethos, our virtues, so finely you denude
Impregnate poet's minds with wantonness
As the breeze glides by the mountainous hind
As the grass blades dance, firmly embrace
A wild infirmity grips poet's mind;
Textures & shapes, egress and digress
With degeneracy, his mind is cast
(Thy mind shalt not swing in amorous sway)
A poet's thoughts are ( his thoughts at last )
Unrestrained be they, immoral be they
The mind reflects the color of skies
As the rains pour out, the lands get wetter
So the mind goes on;unrestrained it flies
A desire flows out from every letter

Loved this piece. I loved that the metaphor was carried all the way through the piece and fleshed out with some beautiful imagery and language. A well written piece and thanks for sharing.

Indeed jainrohit, the extended metaphor was achieved very nicely. Thoroughly enjoyed and, I must say personally, I totally agree!!. Loved it. Thank you
