The Temptation, The Fall, The Way Home to God (Rev1)

Have you been there?
To the place that’s far away.
To beauty so pristine
yet cheats the eyes the heart
mere images on the wall
sadly with no depth at all.
When there, did you soar?
Did you feel the touch?
Warm, not because of love
but from a pounding heart
that pumped hot blood
eager for the kill.
While there did you hear?
Tempting soothing sounds
words so soft so sweet
not, for consolation to the soul
but to slay the heart
to leave you wishng, wanting,
regretting life!
While there did you smell the sweet perfume?
Not to love and ecstasy
but to buy your priceless conscience
with a fleeting fragrance
with a soulless mist.
Have you been there?
To the place that’s far away
far from cozy home
on a magic carpet flight
chasing lustful dreams.
When you fell,
did you meet the pauper prince?
Did he demand your Virtue;
the strength and joy of Gods
that humbly rule a righteous
peaceful land,
that’s never really far away;
which can be ours forever more,
when we turn our hearts
to God
And Live!
