The Capricorn

[misunderstood]

Step by carefully placed step
Moving slowly yet somehow adept
Every decision thought out and again
Just to be sure or certain
That this is the way
Constantly looking over her shoulder
Checking and rechecking the winds
As she tries to time the storms
Which rock her mountain with such vigor
She clings to it like a beacon of hope
Telling herself that she has been through worse
Finding strength inside herself she never knew existed
And underneath that finding the courage
To take her higher up the mountain
Because there is no telling her to stop
The word enough does not register with her
She pushes onward with her unmovable heart
Her unshakable faith and determination
As she purses her lips she sees others fall
But does not look down
She does not look down.

This is an excellent piece about perseverance. The way may be hard but you have to keep moving forward, and not get distracted or let the exhaustion pull to much. Life a perilous and difficult journey that indeed needs to be approached cautiously. Keep on climbing, never look down.
