Release Me
I'm some where between water, steam, and fire
Vapors in a spiral, lay here drowning in my own perspire
Papers to file and pens piled into a pyre, just wanna be inspired
New site, but no vision, optics can't hold on to objects
Can't figure out what's givin, why are these words in a mosh pit
Normally rockin two brains, but can't find the switch to flip,
Or stitch up the ripped seams, frontal lobe twitches
Lost in cerebral creases, hungry for a feast
But I'm no man, I'm monster, a beast with in
How can I live inside with the civilized when an uncivil Sibyl mind
resides inside these chiseled lines deep with in the Chaos mines
Remind me how I went from rhyming grimy
To being trapped in a basement needing finding
Screaming "Someone come Unbind ME!"
Snap me outta these shackles, peel me off this rack whole
Pull me outta this black hole, patch this cracked soul
I need a mechanic from another planet
Make sure ya bring a tool set with a wrench and a ratchet
Spare cybernetic parts, and rewire my synapses to kick start my art
An Heart defibrillation, so I can demonstrate these ill sensations
illustrated in this literation in new material from my imagination
Set me free, consider this my liberation!!!

Re: Release Me
Sounds like someone is certainly wanting their freedom. The only question is how did they lose it in the first place?

Re: Release Me
Nice flow.
The overall message reminds me of the self-imposed limits that we seem to place on ourselves. I'd like to hear this spoken, I think it would sound great.

Re: Release Me
This poem was screaming out in pain, lost between the split mind, you have to sacrifice one for the other, make a wise decision, the altar is only there once!
