Into light
Where obscurity reigned
Steps eager, hesitant
Yet surely
Your hands
In mine
Your lips
To mine
I feel you
Deep within me
Wrapped round my heart
Indelibly writ
Your hands
In mine
Your lips
To mine
Words between us
Carry beyond
What can be said
We are one.
Your hands
In mine
Your lips
To mine
I am yours
Utterly
You are my love

Re: Mahal Ko
What a beautiful expression of the speaker's love. I particularly enjoyed the idea of words conveying even more than their meanings, places in between the repeating stanzas of hands and lips also communicating.

Re: Mahal Ko
I loved this piece it perfectly expressed the depth of emotion and love to it. I loved the repeating stanzas, because each time it was repeated it seemed to convey a deeper meaning. Well written and thanks for sharing

Re: Mahal Ko
Clever poem. Love the repetition and the wonderfully emotions conjured up by the use of some foreign (to me) language. Well done on a most deserving spotlight

Re: Mahal Ko
The repetition verse of hands and lips blended well with the love message and words of another language.
My favorite stanza is the following:
Words between us
Carry beyond
What can be said
We are one.
