You stopped by so I felt I should return the favor but had some trouble finding newer work so I went to this older poem that has resonated so fully with everyone who benefitted from its masterful construction and insightful heart breaking conclusion.

Hi Loretta,
I feel this one deserves to be plucked
from the archives and placed on
the top shelf again. I'm so glad that
I found this poem this morning.
As always superbly penned
and drives home the deep feelings
that linger in your heart.
