Till death do us part
Post
by Liddie » March 18th, 2015, 7:04 am
I do not want you
Shoving your tongue into my mouth
It’s maddening how it always
................................................leads
to a none too subtle reminder
Of your financial
N.E.E.D.S
Do not trace my hipline
With your deceiving hands
The crumbs from your feast
Aren’t worth the penny you fancy
If I am your beauty
You are definitely not MY
b.e.a.s.t
Why do you ignore that I see through your charade?
Why do you disrespect my NO?
Why do you keep coming back?
Why use force when I say GO?
Do you believe if you penetrate my soul that I would undiscover your facade?
I may love you
but not as much as you love my purse
I may miss you
But I’ve broken your curse
I. Do. Not. want to be taken
Not. By. You
Not. By. Force
I swear by my violated heart
The next moan will be yours
So help me God

Thank you for the kind comments Richard and Dew :) I suppose this is why they say hell hath no fury than a woman scorned haha... I always think maybe the anger is a great tool to force you to the point to do what you know is the right thing but have been ignoring way too long because you foolishly clung to the blindness of the ever evasive True Love. But like all things make believe at some point you have to wake up and face reality and ask yourself is this REALLY the male example you want in your boys' upbringing?
I would love to read/hear stories from couples that's been together for many years and still hopelessly in love with their partners. It's hard not to become cynical. Thank God for writing to let off some steam ;-)

This ending really says it all Liddie! And I'm guessing that his/her
(
have to cover my bases you know!) moan will not be a pleasurable one!!!!!!!!!!
What this had was excellent build to it and a heightened threat of
an ending!
Keep writing...and it's ok to come over to the "other" side of darkness if you feel
so inclined.
Your style is unique....

Hi Drew
:) Thank you for your lovely comment, lol the "other" side of darkness... thanks for the invite, I'll probably venture there real soon.
Nope his moan will indeed not be of pleasure... at the moment he should just be thankful I dont know any good hitmen.
Note to self: "Liddie calm down woman! you dont want your new friends to note the madness"
;-)

Good for you, be strong, let no one treat you in such a way, if they do it once they will do it again, look in the right places there is someone somewhere that will be kind

Got to learn to respect that NO. It's always much better when the answer is yes without force. I like the format of your poem - it's unusual.

Hi Ramfire
Some people are arrogant enough to believe the answer is always yes, even when you say no, thank you for your kind comment!
