Endless String Of Nightmares

The endless string of nightmares.
Drenched in cold sweat from scene to scene.
Sleep paralysis gives my lungs the Weight of tar.
Inhaling helium to out counter the bottomless pit.
I feel the screams pierce my ears.
Bleeding my soul out one drop at a time but not enough to create a puddle.
The substance it takes for my transcendence is far outweighed.
My infinite thoughts out played.
Every move on the chess board had been taken into consideration.
Played and read countless times, is there nothing new I can do?
To conscious to give in as a fool.
Snap back to another reality..hanging..just a sheet in the wind.
Hurricane weather burning up to 180 degrees.
Turned around but the feeling remains untamed.
Dust in the breeze.
The smoke clouds my eyes and fills my head with ash.
My skin cracks with countless fissures over the glass bones.
Am I being reborn?
Am I being thrown back into a fragile state of discontent?
Off the 80 story building of books I tumble into darkness.
Heartless I again rise into a forgotten kingdom.
Surrounded by splashes of white.
Sheets of satin, nails of velvet, deep scratches on my back pouring out silk.
Shot up to become an obelisk of stone.
Unbreakable, unreachable, permanent but fading, timeless but recorded.
Magnetic and repulsive I'm drawn into but pushed away.
Helping myself escape, the stone pillar splits into yin and dissolved into yang.
land turns into salt, the oceans turn into throbbing flesh.
Rise into the purple sun and bless the white dwarf.
Applauding my own self as it disintegrates into a flashing burst of helix.
Will I ever escape this endless string of nightmares?

Magnificent visuals vividly described and detailed. I can't say I understood the "point" but I defently felt the dream state of a nightmare as I read through this. I particularly like the 80 story building of books image.

Your imagery is indeed vivid and evocative. My initial reaction is to interpret this in light of some intimate relationship filled with perils, but, I like that other possibilities might also fit.

As stated before this is vivid in it's imagery and setting a scene. The title is very much suited to this piece as it takes the reader through a series of vivid and startling images. Well written and thanks heaps for sharing
