~it's burning still
the clock is ticking. lifeline disturbed or ultrareal. in the same time
i am confused. eyesblackwhite within, and rooted up
woods of stoneflame and swamp. deeply fallen all seas,
hypereal, great, from rainform and cloudlost. in the
stargrappled depth. where is the breath of spring?
my death jumps over the roof into the distance. strawberyy red
smallaroundloved happiness. oh and the bear dances in the lightened streets.
the history spins forward, her lifethread fingers like
a grown up in deepest night, after that, that peace.
poems of polished ice, a thousand maelstroms spoke about that,
in the heart of winter kept like in a beautiful school.
it's burning still.

This is pretty darn tootin good freeprecher. I am not exactly sure what happened on 9/8/09 but your poem is calmingly trapped, and beautiful. Loved the last line especially. I remember, for a fact, that exact feeling as a kid while the snow was coming down outside. It was kind of dark outside as well, due to the clouds. You shared a great perspective in this one. Always a pleasure.

This was a powerful piece. Reading it so soon after your other work gave me an interpretation of this (whether right or wrong I don't know but its good to think on these things). Much enjoyed the read.

It seemed experimental in wordplay, but read easily and with strong intention. Dates tend to be very important in a poem.
That ending gives me an impression of what might have happened. "Like a beautiful school" and ending repetition i found particularly effective.
