Colours Of The World (Sonnet)

Post by treelight » April 16th, 2017, 3:55 am

she wove a tapestry of glory with her hand
each thread showing the colours of nature
to behold these characteristics grand
all of the features being of stature
her beauty ever so astounding to sight
indigo skies above the vast terrain
pristine snows covering mountains of height
red soils spanning across the open plain
so splendidly embroidered our globe
with hues of green in the vegetation
floral tones sewn through a gorgeous robe
truly stupendous of decoration
our planet possesses so many choice tints
she is a wonder of such stunning glints

Mother Nature is indeed a wonder of colorful chaos TL. Unusual sonnet theme, but effectively conveyed. Cheers! - Dan

Love the colours! :D

I've never quite thought of Mother Nature as a weaver but it make since she is creating and in a sense weaving us all together in the circle of life.

tints and glints - nice !
The little flashes of brilliance are so often what catch my eye
like the pink on a rainbow trout or the glimmer of emerald on the wood dove's wing...
A kaleidoscope of wonder if only we'll look...

Very descriptive of mother nature in all of her hues, the sheer beauty one can find upon Gods green earth and creation.
