“The Olive Leaf” (Isaiah 51:6)
How pure the mind of our God
How uncorrupted His heart
And from the very start
He gave, and He gave – to Save;
From a loathsome Life
Of Ignorance, hatred and strife;
However, to feed our need, our thoughts
Became the mire indeed!
Then Christ revealed the Olive leaf of Peace
For the greatest to the least;
The hope of a New, a better World
A world not so bold, like the old
But Humble, Sweet, Submissive
Looking for Intelligence Supreme
So we could live the dream
And our friendship with our God renew;
And we heard Him say, “Trust me my dear ones; For I Love You!”
“But be careful, the Beast doesn’t love anything good – EVER!”
“And his Standard is selfishness and self-centeredness Forever!!!”
“My Standard is Righteousness, Holiness, Intelligence,”
“Unfeigned Love; Kindness, Gentleness and Mercy;”
“Divine Understanding - FOREVER!”
“Choose ye this day, and go well my dear ones!!!”

It felt like love was flowing during this writing, I could sense the need to love "thy neighbour as thyself"
Some very poignant lines, especially in seeing the crown of thorns as a olive leaf, kinda like an Olympus to Jesus

Re: "The Olive Leaf" (Isaiah 51:6)
There was a time in my life, that I felt like I was fighting with the Things we are not on earth to see. And, much later in this same Life, Jesus came back to show me that I was mostly fighting with myself. Our Heavenly Father, truly accepts and fulfills everything we will ever want or need.
Very much enjoyed & Happy Father’s Day!

up2quark, so good to hear from you!!! Loving your neighbor as yourself is a wonderful and an amazing way to live life - living all of Christ’s teachings can truly bring so much joy (not necessarily freedom from hardships) into our lives! So does Jesus Christ know what He is doing??? Without a doubt, He really does!!! (John 7:17)

David, truly an amazing amount of candor in your wonderful comment!!! Thanks so very much for sharing your thoughts! Really do appreciate you!!! I had a wonderful Father’s Day, really hope you did also. I made a lot of mistakes as a father in my “ignorant youth” but I feel my four sons have forgiven me for the most part! I did apologize for my mistakes and explained that we don’t get a PHD in Parenting before we become one but we just do the best we can with the knowledge we have at the time! anthony

Enjoyed reading this one, anthony. I had the image of leaning into the struggle and keeping one's eyes on what lies ahead.

A positively positive message AC that could also be the start of the A.I. infused Robot Revolution. Omnipotence and omniscience does indeed require more than we will ever be - unassisted of course. Cheers my friend! - Dan

Dwells, WOW, what an absolutely amazing comment that opens up a constant stream of pure intelligent thinking, I.e., the introduction of the oxymoron “Artificial Intelligence” in your comment!!! Do you suppose that AI will actually be able to write truly meaningful, and inspiring poetry???? When I was very young my mother taught me that what man could imagine, man could do!!! Dan, I do know that Christ would never give us a commandment we could never keep! So in regard to His commandment to “be perfect even as Heavenly Father is perfect” (Mat 5:48) - if we manage to fulfill His commandment regarding His level of perfection (through the enabling power of His grace), what would we actually become??? Thanks so very much for sharing your wonderful thoughts, anthony
