I got into an argument
Buy stuff
Wash away anger with novelty
Be briefly amazed
Then throw it away

I aced a test yesterday
Buy stuff
Results deserve rewards
Pride? Please
I need a shape
A color
A texture
A quantity
I can’t feel
But I can touch
I have a room I can still cram full

I have a hole in my heart
Buy stuff
If it can’t slot what I bought
Chuck in something else
So many things
So many shapes
Something should fit
I alwys win
When I go for broke
Short-lived victory
Is victory still

I have a resolution for the new year
Buy stuff
To purchase away my problems
To shop when I would sulk
To acquire what I admire
As they say
Stuff conquers all
