Shocking in reality.

this area of the 9/11 tragedy always shocked me the most - "the jumpers", and I have to say that of all the horrible images of those days, these were the most visceral and depressing. The people who were in the planes and the people who initally died on impact probably felt, heard or saw, very little as the planes were vaporized into the buildings.

But the jumpers and those stranded must have felt like they were in a living hell for all that time until they either jumped, fell or the buildings collapsed. I have to admit that I have watched in horror all those clips on youtube of the people falling from the buildings and that is what makes me the most angry about that day, because those people (in fact all the people who died) were simply citizens going about their day. And then this all happened.

I think you piece is a very fitting tribute to the sadness of seeing those people falling, because as the other poster said above, you gave a sense of humanity back to them, gave them the face and personality that we cannot see in those grainy videos.

My prayers go out to all the victims of violence in this country, and especially on that day. God bless.
