Censorships

Post by testove » April 27th, 2012, 11:59 pm

What do I do now with my mouth ,
It’s stitched in white cotton thread?
Now that my words have been dipped
in blue bleach to clean my wicked thoughts

What way do I turn now to drop
my battered life to the ground for inspection?
Introspection limited to soft cell meals
for public consumption, frozen foods.

can I see you uncensored, undone, alone?
can I see you naked and vicious, hate on fire?
Or are you just the gray ghost silhouette
showing through the rice paper changing wall?

This is imaginatively expressed, your imagery here effectively exposes the consequences of censorship. Impressed. :thumb:

Censorship is bad, but this poem is very good. I loved your take on the matter and the descriptions especially. Thanks for sharing!

I like your images of the stitched mouth and the shodowy ghost shapes. Well done to reveal the problems with cenroship!!
