Excellent use of personification throughout this poem bring a metaphoric quality to the descriptions, helping to bring the natural world to life. I like seeing poetry which makes winter seem less threatening as it's usually the subject for a lot of negativity in poetry, yet you've illustrated it with beauty and creativity.
