Yup, this is an excellent piece of poetry and a second read only confirms as much! You begin with something vivid and tangible and don't let go of the reader throughout, it's a darkness poem to the core with some clever poetic nuance to enhance the creepiness.
Congratulations on the spotlight poetess :)
