[Simple Poetry]

I enjoyed the rhyme scheme, its one of my favorites(A,A,B,B) and also the emotion put into the poem is superb. thanks for sharing it!

Although I see that this was originally inspired by the death of a person, I think what makes it so effective is that a literal reading of it is so painful on its own, before digesting it as an analogy to a person makes for another gut punch. The gently lilting style was a perfect medium for the message.
