The Summer breeze
whispered
against

of the wind chime,
halting
only briefly
to hear
the music
it had composed.

Gee wiz Cat - this was almost a Haiku or Tanka to my ear (you're right about that title). One of your finest and the closing was magical, cheers!

The imagination sparked by these words is peace-inducing. I feel relaxed. Wind chimes are therapeutic magic. I have 3 in my cottage here. You have now glamorized them in my eyes.
