Oh my goodness. It was like a soft, sad dance, like a timeless ballet of word and meaning; and your words tie little extra ribbons of beauty around each line, and I truly, truly, truly am awed with this piece's poignant beauty.
"This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia;
That by knowing Me here for a little, you may know Me better there.”
That by knowing Me here for a little, you may know Me better there.”

Thank you everyone. I am so humbled that my pleas, my desperation, my sentiments - they are all being heard and supported.

I truly thank you for your constructive comment, although I wanted the title to stand out powerfully against the languid backdrop of the rest of the poem. Shock treatment of sorts.suresh chandra wrote:The thoughts are too deep to describe.yet you have done it with such ease . like an artist at his easel on a stormy night his brush painting the colors of spring.The blend of dark and light lossand the present perception of the lost one is I can only describe as simply beautiful.Thank you for sharing the beauty of a memory.The title is too glaring against the backdrop of mellowness.Could you soften it up if possible?
A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Keats

The soothing sound of that voice comes through loud and clear. Great ability in creating the atmosphere of that whispering sound. I really liked the sensitivity in this piece and how tenderly you developed it. Great work here and enjoyed!!

It all comes out of faith, I believe, as hard as it is.

Re: We Shall Overcome
What a great poem. I can't say enough to show how much I liked this one. When I hit the last 2 lines, they invoked a presence of conviction and surprise from within the subject matter.

Peace within, this is what it is all about. Leads to conviction and acceptance, no matter how hard "it" is.
