That Dumb Susie

Post by jamielou » February 8th, 2015, 6:07 pm

Mr. Nobody,
The invisible, little, green man,
He can do things
No one else can.
He says when he flew to Colorado
He sat in the co-pilot's chair.
And he skied on the slopes at Aspen
But no one saw him there.
Susie says he is not real
Because he has never been seen.
Susie does not understand
What invisible means.

Poor Susie - she's just a realist. I guess she needs an imagination.

Thank you all for the replies and Dew. All of my great grandchildren grew up blaming Mr. Nobody for everything done wrong. I wrote ten poems about him. I put them, a framed picture and a selfie of him into a book and gave each grandchild one. Tyler slept with his book.
Daniel,
Do you remember when you and Dawn sent the Invisible, little, green man to me? Didn't know if I should curse you or praise you. I think of each of you each time he does something.
With love to both of you.
Louse

mr. nobody, he sure gets around, I heard a comedian once say that you weren't a real parent unless you had more than one child, if you have more than one child , you never know who done it, I didn't do it, thanks for sharing, may God bless
