Be still, and feel
your essence
entire and
unpretentious

Breathe easy and
tease the air
with warmth to
swarm the
atmosphere
with unexpected
gasps of
pleasure

Don’t measure,
grasp a moment
then twirl in
swirling motions
daring to stir
your own
potion

Drizzle your sun
to drip shine,
divine rays of
you, the way
you were
created to
do

Trust the magic
conjured at
birth
configured in
the earth’s
richness of soil,
the spoils of
nature

Be still as the dull
of angst lessens
while you stand
beneath the grandeur
of the moon
the place where
the universe
swoons souls
with its
wonders

I never ever tire of reading your phenomenal work. The emotions and images you are able to put into words lift the poem right off the page and make it come to life. Like a beautiful silent film! I adore this. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and inspiring the rest of us!

Absolutely stunning piece of poetry, what's more amazing is that it's an OM. I love the conversational and serene tone. It's such a relaxing piece of poetry w/ a message. I love the message too. This can fit just as nicely in the enlightened board as it can here, I love it when a piece can cross boards. This is really great work. Loved it. Thanks so much for sharing!!

You smiled me today and that means a lot. People don't have to be kind and I never take it for granted when they are. Thank you Mike for your gracious response. Peace, V

Uh-huh, as I might have mentioned before, it's not just what you say it's how you say it. While the title might have taken its cue from the natural setting and sense of appreciation for Mother Nature, the sibilance and delicious phrasing also adds to the 'natural' feel of your work as it feels very much like you're speaking it to me and not at me.
A lot of the energy in this one comes from the interplay between speaker and nature, it's not a one way relationship and the idea of not just viewing but actually feeling nature, even if we can still be awestruck by it, makes for a poem with an inspiring message.
Feels like it's been too long since I've lost myself in your work, poetess.

C2W - this just kept getting better as the reader fell under the spell you wove with your wonderful words. Exquisitely evocative of something we've all experienced, or wished we had; if only in a dream. Cheers for the swooning souls! - Dan

This is an absolute beauty! The flow is so smooth and it's soothing, it's refreshing in its own way!
Congratulations on the spotlight

Created to write, ah yes. To write, to express, to bring life to words and create something so pure and untouched as this 'naturally' gorgeous piece. I cannot offer much more than what has been said but oh my how this just quietly encompasses a passion that isn't forceful or intense but rather gentle and enlightening. A lovely read so truly inspiring a Spotlight. Thanks for sharing this with us.
