We're blessed

Stars constantly shine
Then implode
Reverse

Blackest of holes,
Lurking, poised,
Snuffing out neighbors,
Light is destroyed.

Beating of hearts
Unseen
Unfelt

Pulsating strength
Unblemished
Can melt

Life-giving cadence,
Unnoticed 'til gone,
Can weaken, erratic,
Erasing a song.

Change is the rule
Birth
Decay

Unbounded ecstasy
Wizened
Dismayed

Seems under our curse
Pulsates a Light,
Providentially pulling
Our soul through the night.

Phillip: Very thought provoking!!! Without contrast there is no life! However, Ralph Waldo Emerson put an interesting spin on it all when he wrote that in every loss there is gain and in every gain there is a loss! Change is the only true constant. I like the idea and presentation of light and sound and movement in flux. A strong close with the constant of the force of Providence.

First off I loved the rhyming that you had here, ok I admit I'm a sucker for a good rhyme and yours were just awesome. Anyway back on the actual content which was also amazing I might add. There is always dark where there is light, loss where there is gain it is a constant balance. Thanks for sharing
