Then it all stopped
I breathed my last breath
from meaning came nothing
until all has been and imagined
is there time at all?
Simple minds filled with bliss
tip of the illusion of a mountain
as the feather smashes it to pieces
we all bend in awe
then forget it with purpose
and so shall we all
many nothings

Re: many nothings
How much is just illusion? Can there be clarity after death?
Fascinating to think about!

nothing comes knocking
when reflecting on the end
but emotionlessly looking
can surely make our being bend
Very Much Enjoyed!

Re: many nothings
Wow, loved this piece it was just awesome. What is illusion, what is real, is it only clear in death or is death too an illusion. Can the seemingly weak really be strong enough to destrory the mountain or was the mountain itself actually weak? and the last lines were cool. Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for the thoughts!
Life and death as an illusion yet so real to us that we forget. All it takes is one moment of the perception of truth to smash the illusion to bits... and then we forget on purpose so physical manifestation has meaning again.

Congratulations on the spotlight. Parallels subject matter within the Tibetan Book Of The Dead. I love theology and allegory, and your poem is right up there in what I can imagine in a fundamental first person sense. Always a pleasure.
