Heart-rendingly sad D.E. and welcome to TPS. A somber, seasonal sojourn of memories and what indeed might now seem so miraculous; when we were new in the world. Marvelously presented and well done with a common metaphor given uncommon treatment; cheers for your time machine of wonderful words - Dan

Re: SEASONS
4 neatly packaged stanzas, all with the same thread -
the knowledge that she won't be back.
The image of the crisp leaves, the prelude to winter is what spoke to me most...
super work + welcome to tps.

Re: SEASONS
I don't think I can express how much this moved me. The longing and appreciation in the summer stanza, how the leaves above perfectly mirrored the lovers below...perfection. "Made spectacular by death" is so apt to fit this piece. Amazing. Thank you.
"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light;
I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."

Re: SEASONS
this is one beautiful, outstanding piece of writing, deserving of many spotlights, or maybe a picture frame hung on a wall, to me this is just so great and moving , there are really no words I can find to say how it moved me, thanks so much for sharing, may God richly bless you
