This song is about people we miss, those who we love but we cannot be with them, those who got lost as fireflies and we still hope in their comeback
Genre: rock/pop ballad
The first rays of the sun
Wake the nature up from a cold embrace
Melt the ice and snow
Coming renaissance
The flowers grew so high
To reach the sky of Eden garden
Knock on heaven’s door
Made of gold
I take a step on misted grass
Where water soaked my shoes
I’m under willow tree
Waiting for you
It’s gonna be the nicest day
When you find me there
And when it turns to dark
Come alone
So fly and shine like a firefly
Bring me light to dawn on this night
Save me from all the badness outside
Shine, shine my world so bright
The bubbly ocean waves
Waft my body through a moony bay
Cradled by the wind
In eternal sleep
It’s only you
Who can awake me up to life tonight
Hope you’ll find a way
To my hideaway
So fly and shine like a firefly
Bring me light to dawn on this night
Save me from all the badness outside
Shine, shine my world so bright
I can’t take you by your hand
To catch you when the season changes
I know you will disappear
If I don‘t tell you how much you mean
Tell me is there a little chance
To rewrite the story from a hoped for end
Just fly and shine like a firefly
Bring me light to dawn on this night
Save me from all the badness outside
Shine, shine my world so bright Last edited by

Oh this was so sweet and beautiful, I love it! I could hear it in my head. Beautiful writing.

I loved you then, I love you still though we are shadows of our former glory
Though they try to kill us off, we are a never-ending story

Thanks both of you :) the genre of this song should be something like melancholic balad and I use a little inspiration of phrasing in "What Could Have Been Love" by Aerosmith and it is written for somebody who has similar voice like Klaus Meine of Scorpions or for other version he could have voice like Bon Jovi :P

My favorite parts:
The flowers grew so high
To reach the sky of Eden's garden
Knock on heaven’s door
Made of gold
and
I take a step on misted grass
Where water soaked my shoes
I’m under willow tree
Waiting for you
Congratulations on the TPS spotlight recognition.
