Despite the deeply personal nature of this, being specifically addressed to someone special, this is a very engaging piece which touches upon many of the senses to create a visceral, vivid perspective. Although we are all likely to harbour such hopes for our words I think this should appeal to more than merely poets, but everybody who has shared a profound connection with somebody special.
Congratulations on the spotlight.

Hi moe,

I enjoy reading poems that have a wistfulness about them, and so I enjoyed your free verse piece.

Thanks for the read.

Go well.

This is simple, sad, and sweet! I love the elegance in this poem, how you managed to balance familiarity and grace. The message actually reminded me of Shakespeare (who I greatly admire) but with a wispy twist to it. Anyway, I really loved this- a beautiful poem and deserving of its Spotlight!

There's a very nostalgic quality to this, which I liked very much. Everybody wishes to be remembered (and hopefully their good points rather than their bad points). I thought your title really made my mind wander... That You Might Dream.

Legendary writers like Charles Dickens, Robert Frost and Shakespeare have long since passed away, but people still dream when they read their work (and for good reasons).

A very memorable piece here Moe... well deserved Spotlight!

Congratulations on a well deserved Spotlight. Simply and poetically to the power of language, to connection and eternal love.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Moe you have out done yourself. What a great poem to one you love or to your audience. A book to build a dream. Every poet wants to heard somehow and be published and you captured the essence of poetry to a tee. Enjoy the spotlight my friend you deserve it.

This is one of the reasons why I so treasure the Spotlight - it brings to us such wonderful gems, hidden treasures in the myriad boards of the TPS that we might otherwise have missed. Lovely work, moe, congratulations on a well-earned place in the spotlight!

This is the beauty of writing. The words are always there to be recalled, savoured and cherished.
You have illustrated it so well in this quiet , but telling piece. Definitely one to keep.

Moe,
I was not a member when you submitted this piece. The first word that comes to mind is WOW! This is one of the most beautiful, touching, heartfelt poems I have read in some time ... at least one of those I want to remember and re-read. I have bookmarked this so I can do just that. Words escape my description. When I began reading this, I knew it came from the deepest part of your heart and soul. Just absolutely beautiful!
