Love a spear poem Anon and the line about "a hole where a spear should be" does indeed conjure up an image of a permanently silenced speaker First you get the point, and then you get shafted. Admire the way you wrapped up your philosophy with the closing. Cheers! - Dan

and welcome. I agree with what Dan said. these were my favorite lines:

Oppress, repress, suppress.
Trap It in a body, a body so weak.
If strong: do not allow It to speak.

this stirs up strong emotion within me!

we do so much damage. And yet we are so weak physically. Great poem highlighting the importance of perspective.
