I was too young to play with clay
At that age, oh to have known!
Caution to regard, I knew what would result
But I couldn't stay away
Experience was uncharted and I conquered my claim
What was I on?
I still wonder...
Who can I blame?
Stains in the hallway sullied what once i fought to maintain
Tread tired, train of thought lost its pull on the road
As predisposed to passion
As lost in thought as when I sought you out
As days take what we show the world, you resurface
As forgiving as you have been
As unyielding as I was
As gravity keeps things spinning
My thoughts lag
I'd rather you hate me

hmm so many ways to interpret this. either way there is definite regret. we all have those things we wish we hadnt done. hindsight is always clearer.
