Wow, terrific poem; not only were your rhyme and flow on point, but you also created a wonderful story behind such a man, detailing his downfall with the content-quality of a short story.

There is a great tragedy behind this story. We get a narrow window into the man's past, and the questions rise - who did he kill, why did he do it, what does he think of it now? Is he living his last hours in regret, or is he proud of what he did?
This poem leaves me wondering what is the story behind the brave man with the sword... Very well done.
