yes the only night that it is cloudier is when there is an eclipse.

I'm going to send a complaint letter to Trump. Maybe he can do something about this problem.

Of all the days to be cloudy.
Mother Nature, playing with our emotions.
This haiku reminds me of another writer I found in the back pages, a favorite of mine, called konch

Hail Micky and really enjoyed the conflict established in the first and third lines; to create a sense of heavenly disappointment. Cheers and well done! - Dan

Hi Micky, lovely little poem - albeit a sad defeat in the end. Thankfully it is an annual event and not something you'd only chance upon once in your lifetime.

I totally get this. I have an 8 inch dodsonian and it's a heavy brute. I know what its like struggling to get it set up only to have the nights gazing ruined by cloud cover. Lol. Well done on the spotlight!

Re: meteor
What a disappointment. So goes life. But with the great cosmos, luckily, there is always something new happening. Hopefully, a new event will make itself known to your eyes watching the skies. Nice job, much enjoyed.

How true!
The use of few words and humor that I understand makes it well deserving of the spotlight.
