Congrats on the Spotlight for this small gem. How wonderfully you describe the manner in which we experience nostalgia. It is so true, it can be a heavy rock, a boulder we can not raise high enough to get it off our shoulders. It can be a wispy and evasive as the very air. But as sad as it can be, it shows us we are still alive and experiencing. Nostalgia dances away as we give up our mortal life for a lighter one. Lovely

Congratulations on the spotlight! I really enjoyed the way this read and it so aptly describes the feeling of nostalgia, which I tend to find hard to describe without actually saying the word nostalgic. Very well done. Thank you for sharing this.
