You captued a brutal battering of emotional distress. A person who feels already dead in a world that is unforgiving to the soul. But, in the end you pose a glimmer of hope for one such a person. I like those kind of poems that can go through lifes turmoil but still have hope or promise in something. Very good writing my friend and most deserving of the spotlight.

Congratulations on the spotlight, Sophia! It just goes to show that when the muse grabs you, you should just write and write and let whatever comes, come. Some of our best work comes to us this way, free-flowing from our subconscious and letting loose our innermost feelings. So - if this is not your best work I will make sure to look out for some more of your not-best work, which to my way of thinking is quite stupendous!
