He slew the great giant
With faith a rock and a sling
He became God's beloved
As well as the king
But he was not without fault
And suffered much heart ache
But through the Bible we are taught
God does not forsake
But that does not exempt us from our grief
Just as David we all are sinners
Even Paul declared himself chief
But the beauty is forgiveness
And life eternally given
But until the here after
It's the flesh we must live in
Free will is our choice
And choices we make
David chose courage
Courage through faith
Courage and Faith

Re: Courage and Faith
Yes! This world can come across as a giant. But when we have a deep and true relationship with God, the giants are prepared to fall.
Very much enjoyed!

Yes, the giants do not seem so formidable in the face of God. Loved your poem. God's Grace is infinite. Thank you for your words.
