Working From Home

Post by Gerson » October 8th, 2019, 9:30 pm

It was halfway through a day off school
That i confirmed something i already knew.
This is what i want to do.
Silence is more relaxed at half past two, kitchens
Let their guard down, sofas are off duty.
In midday silence we find harmony.
Pity is extended to the clouds- the stress in their faces,
I would invite them in, but it might disturb our stasis.
Perhaps without knowing
Ive made sure i have the option
Of doing nothing.
What that says about me, why
It's so sacred, am i lazy
Or am i free?
If youre always chasing somethings
Youre uncomfortable with nothing.
If youre comfortable with nothing
You can see everything.

I have to admit that my experience of working from home was very different but you bring up some good points. One adjunct - if you're comfortable with nothing you're never disappointed. I was far from disappointed with this write.

Nice lines. I have wandered around procrastinating at this sort of time and it is indeed very peaceful. There is something about it.
