Nothing At All

Post by triden » April 20th, 2012, 7:03 am

A long time ago….
I knew it all….
I said to the Wind…
There’s nothing that you haven’t heard
And there’s nothing you’ve heard, that I don’t know

And in all He’s splendour, He took the form of a giant man
Gashing everything around Him and His eye was the sun
Standing towering over me He stood and gave me His transparent hand
Made a soft whirl wind platform and told me to stand

He took me to a faraway place on a high-way of birds and flying creatures
He would look down at me on His hand, and smile…
His grin had a liberating breeze
It took my breath away with all its fears
And made me imagine, a peaceful field of deer’s
His feet with every step plunged to the ground with might
But as soon as it would touch the ground, it would disperse into love and life

And then He stopped and lifted me high above His head,
While His hair became dark clouds of lightening
I was scared.
He looked up to me and He had a second eye, a moon this time
And His mouth became a Hurricane Abyss, I wanted to cry

With a voice like thunder, He says to me. “Do not be afraid”

“And tell ME if this sounds familiar, if this sounds familiar at all
Hold on to nothing, and fall…Just free fall… to Nothing at all”

Hi, wow, I found this poem quiet humbling. Very imaginative, and it has an innocence I found touching, like a child's fable. Enjoyed this very much.

If we have learned one thing in life
May it be that kind love is good
May we not remember the strife
May forgiveness be understood.
