Ta ta, Alice
Post
by danielraythomason » April 18th, 2012, 11:55 pm
I invited her to my tea party,
A fair girl by the name of Alice.
I took her blonde tress and
let it brew in my tea cup,
*takes sip* Ahhhhhh!
Just wait till we get to the
entrée.

Creepy. I hope I don't think of this poem next time I watch the Alice In Wonderland Disney film, I think it may make it creepier than I'd like.

Simply fabulous! So much fun! ..Is it wrong to think this is fun? *shrugs* I enjoyed it. The title is inspired and I love the simplicity of it, unapologetic and darkly exciting. I always admire an exploration and evolution of an well-known tale. Alice has to be one of my favourites anyway, the tale in its original form is madder than a hatter! Ha!
Ace work. Love this one a lot.

ladylilith - Don't worry, I always get a kick from poems like this. It's okay to drown in the transgression. :P
FrankieVC - Thanks, dude! Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Time Burton and Alice in Wonderland (or Underland I suppose) are two of my favorite things ever and you managed to capture them both in that little dity but maybe a touch darker. Bravo, nicely done sir.

Chilling and creepy on so many levels, as has been reiterated already, but just to add my meager words of approval. But............................I'm changing my name tomorrow.

DRT...... this gave me shivers and made me want to rush right out and change my name. Good job at "creepingly weird".
