driving in reverse
while the earth spins

Yes, the world is a beautiful place. It was given to us to make what ever we choose to make of it. So far, there has been some successes and some notable failures. What is important is that we recognize that the gears of time grind exceedingly small, all big things have a small beginnings.

Sounds like you put it in reverse with a heavy foot. Traveling backwards at the same pace the earth spins, can make things appear to stand still, and that can make us feel paralyzed by our monotonous daily tasks. But when the sunrises come from the west, we can find ourselves on a road that leads to innocence.

This was so... nice to read. I mean that in exactly the warm and genuine feelings it brought up in me. It's not often stopping to consider your space in the universe and how truly small you are is a positive experience. A lot of the time it fills me with anxiety.
