Here I am
Once again
Dueling with fear
I stand on the walls of my heart
The battlements of my vulnerability
Guarding what will fall captive all too soon
If I am not vigilant
If fear gets past my barricade
Or disarms my trembling frame

O be strong, my soul!
Put forth your best effort
I don't want to be constricted
I want to live

Thanks, S(OU)LAR. It's harder sometimes than others, of course, but I find if I can hang on through the worst of it, the best is often just around the corner. :)

hello. I get like that too. with me my thoughts go to fast. it feels like I'm losing my mind. many other symtoms as well
I try to hang on. it does pass. and I feel better then before it happens. keep the faith.

I very much like the image of the soul doing its best to protect the heart,
the source of strong and sometimes mysterious and unpredictable desires.
