Hello there;
there is something so dreary about December; only the Christmas season offers us humans a glimmer of hope, but for the forest creatures December is the onset of lean times. I like the lines where the sparrow rests upon the willow branch. Btw, as a wild bird rehabilitator I can tell you that roughly one third of the bird population dies off during those harsh winter months. A fine write, ncleroy. Much liked,
