A delicate piece using subtle phrasing to form a evocative feel. Less is most certainly more here. Congratulations.

I love the idea that the entire point of the sunlight was to reach the slumberer's cheek - and once this is accomplished, the golden dawn light can settle in to rest, having achieved its purpose.
A beautiful and economical use of words. I've missed reading you.
