An absolutely beautiful piece of artwork. I've never tried painting, but this piece makes me a little scared to. Pretty sure I couldn't do it, even after years of practice. Haha. Really excellent.

RiverRose...I could have sworn I made a comment on this when you first posted it this Summer...I thought it was skillfully painted...the detail's are very good and subtle, giving character to you and your brother's with the stroke of a brush...A very nice rendering of an Easter memory....Congrats on the Spotlight! Painting isn't really my forte at all, but it's easy to recognise the beauty of this and envy the talent it must have taken to create it. I was particularly impressed by the definition of the faces and the subtle difference in shading of the sky.
Congratulations on the spotlight!

Loved the muted colours that portray the soft tints of the spring growth. The perspective was beautifully executed and I felt that I was being drawn into the scene.
A well deserved Spotlight . Congratulations!!

Those brothers look like naughty boys set on mischief. The photo must have meant a lot to you for you to recreate it :)
