The Foundation of Existence

Post by lurker » July 10th, 2015, 12:09 pm

The Source of creation is the Author of the laws that govern the movement and behavior of the cosmos from the massive to the minuscule, from the profound to the mundane, and from the heavens of our bliss to the hells of our despair. When life becomes conscious of creation through perception and participation, it eventually encounters the essence of love in the spirit of belonging. The promise of that love is to protect, praise, and provide for the life that seeks shelter from the chaos of the storm in the sanctuary of its eye. Know that even the wise are unable to distinguish between the falling asleep and coming awake of the brightest star in the absence of time and cardinal directions. They are therefore essential to recognizing the birth, death, and transition of the sun on both the horizon of earth and consciousness. Together they are the music of eternal infinitude that resonates within your being to remind you of times devoid of time, and of places that dreams dream to visit. These sounds will plant the seeds of faith around the seat of your soul, and inspire the trust that time - though forever gone from your perception - will never forsake you. The tree that sprouts from those seeds will bear the fruits of transcendence and clarity as the clouds of confusion drift away to reveal the crystal clear canvas of the cosmic sky. Free from delusion and distraction you will witness the illumination of the path that you will tread on towards a life well lived. Those who seek justice will find that forgiveness is the key to transforming a prison of bitterness into a paradise of blessings. In the effort to pardon another we have liberated ourselves and learned that love is the ultimate wisdom. We have learned that happiness is a choice made difficult by the weakness of our will, strengthened by the divine spark of hope. The hope that nothing shall have been in vain, and that all things happen for reasons that though may be unknown, are still ever present and advocate mercy instead of revenge as a commandment written on the hearts of the oppressed and abused. We have come to realize, not just intellectually, but through practice, the value of humility, the reward of patience, and the beauty of kindness through self-discipline and selfless devotion. Always remembering to celebrate our humanity in humor because we defeat our demons by laughing at them, and we end our education by teaching others that which gifts the dying with a peaceful passing, that which inspires the living to pursue a cause worth dying for; that which gives those drowning in sorrow a breath of air to smile for, and those living in luxury a sobering taste of poverty. So let us honor the memory of the fallen heroes that traded their lives for ours, and appreciate the sacrifice of those who made our lives possible, and in doing so reminding us that indeed, all things are possible.

There is so much in here to digest and some very well written and insightful lines. My favourite line has to be "Always remembering to celebrate our humanity in humor because we defeat our demons by laughing at them". This is so true and seen time and time again in life. A much enjoyed read thanks for sharing.

You have spoken of many powerful virtues:
forgiveness, love, humility, patience and kindness.
Taking mastery over all of those would make any existence spectacular...
Thanks for sharing.
