A clear sky

Post by sakshi.joshi » May 9th, 2016, 4:25 pm

And I look and look but find nothing,
It's like staring into a clear blue sky,
You see the vast indefinite space,
Wonder what's behind that,
Wonder if it is just a veil hiding some secrets behind,
You wait and wait for the shield to lift,
But it's just a clear blue sky.

I know what it is to gaze off in the endless blue sky and wander what lies beyond it... what a metaphor...great write.

This is really lovely, thought
provoking in its clear and vivid imagery. I really liked it.

Yeah, the sky can be both clear and empty all at once. Interesting write! It is ponderous.

Introspective and relatable. I think we've all looked up and wondered at one point or another in our lives. Interesting piece.

I let the sun on my skin.
Pretend I don't burn
I'm not burning here.
I just lay ash
On my eyelids,
And rub it deep into my
Bones.
