A Kid Named Zulu Watong (Part 1)

Post by madz13379 » August 12th, 2017, 2:05 am

It is said that in old times
There was a kid that had a rhyme
The kid's name was Zulu Watong
Known as the writer of songs
He was also called the story teller
Sometimes right and other times wrong
Yet Zulu was always getting better

He shined like a pure diamond
A light that shed the dark
And made it scatter so frightened
Yet Zulu's bright light beckoned from deep within the forest
Many dark creatures that reckoned the need to put that light to rest

They gathered together led by Fufu
A deceiver and a slithering snake
He asked his friends Lufu and Mufu
To let the ground beneath Zulu shake
To guide him deep within the evil forest's heart
Where it was all rotten and dark

A place where Zulu's light can no longer spark

Fufu and his friends came in disguise
They filled Zulu's heart with lies
And promised him they will help him reach the skies
Zulu was smart but unfamiliar with the art of deceiving
He started losing things that needed retrieving

Uncaring went Zulu following Fufu, Lufu and Mufu

(To be continued)

Actually I might put 🎶 on it, but then again you still won't hear it lol

I think the type of Dr.Seuss music would fit :)

Cheers :)

"He shined like a pure diamond."
Profound and well done.

I loved the African storytelling of this one. it's a great parable story and I hope for our sakes that Zulu is saved.
