yes...I can feel the stirrings of the traces of memories that linger. just like phantoms caught between the ether and here. this is a haunting piece that will stay with me through the day.

I believe we sometimes leave in stages, perhaps to pave the way for that final curtain. Meanwhile we observe others around us, living and dying, separating and re-uniting, and begin to come to grips with our own mortality maybe. I am moved by the finality in this piece. The poignancy of what's past and as such irretrievable is made universal. Love that lives in our memories alone can be a source of pain or release. torment or the enjoyment of what has been. I think you did a good job of demonstrating both.
